Apparently two students that go to my school were showcasing the gay pride flag. Shortly after, some bigoted dude came down to them, and started cussing and disrespecting them. Then, a TEACHER at Clyde A. Erwin High School told the students to not display the flag again and then compared it to nazism, saying that raising the Gay Pride flag would be like raising a Nazi flag. 

Let me tell you something, 
These rednecks that display the “Rebel flag” on almost every shirt they wear are not given such grief or strife. I don’t care how you justify it, the Rebel Flag has a RACIST history. But no, that’s not a problem, but a flag representing equality for everyone is? 

How dare that teacher humiliate students that were expressing love and peace. How dare that teacher compare the Gay Pride flag to the Nazi flag. How DARE that teacher give one of the kids OUT OF SCHOOL SUSPENSION for defending the flag and not give it to the boy who cursed at the two students and yelled offensive insults at the two students. 

I refuse to let an innocent boy expressing equality, love and peace, get punished. Especially when their was another boy harassing, and bullying them.
